Channel 2 - BUFFALO, N.Y. - A Western New York man who's collected Crystal Beach items for years will auction them off Tuesday at the Lodge Auction House in South Buffalo.
Dr. Burt Sellers has collected Crystal Beach items since the main auction in 1989 and is now selling them to prepare for a move down south.
Items scheduled for auction Tuesday include mostly signs that were up in and around the amusement park but there's also an original park turnstile and even wooden beams from the rollercoaster known as "The Comet".
The auction will be held at the Lodge Auction House located at 212 Cazenovia Street in Buffalo on Tuesday June 8th, 2010. The phone number is (716) 826-0168. A preview will start at 4:30 p.m. The auction will start at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately 3 hours.
